About Owner Paula Mack

Greetings Everyone
 
My name is Paula Mack. I am a well-rounded experienced consultant in the field of general and special education. For the past 25 years I have dedicated myself to improving the lives of children not only as a General Educator, but also in the field of Special Education.
 
I hold two Masters Degrees, Special Education and Educational Leadership, which qualifies me to lead any educational program or institution at the Director and Principal levels. I also hold a Bachelors and Associates Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I also earned the following certifications: General Education; Special Education; School Building Leader and School District Leader. I am currently completing my dissertation or my PHD in Educational Leadership.
 
I started my experience in the field of education as a Teacher's Aide and worked my way up the ranks to the Senior Management level, Business Owner, Director, and Independent Consultant/ Contractor. During this journey, I amassed a wealth of knowledge, strengthening my desire and passion to ensure that all children, including those with special needs obtain the best available education, resources and support needed to ensure they perform at their optimum.
 
As a result, I have created training modules for all sectors of staff involved in the education and welfare of children. I has designed and facilitated workshops for education leaders, administrators, teachers, social service and health workers, therapists, maintenance staff, parents, office staff, family workers, human resources staff, social workers, consultants and bus drivers.
 
I have facilitated training and technical assistance sessions for numerous childcare centers, daycare center, home-based pre-schools and head start programs, private school programs, charter schools, locally and regionally, including the Office of Head Start, the leading pre-school authority in early childhood education.
 
I am the CEO –Founder of Children Connect, which is a professional development company and provides technical assistance to schools. Look out for children's books, teacher resources and more.  I love what I do.
 
When I am not actively changing the lives of pre-school children, for maximum relaxation, I can be found scouting the streets of Soho NY for beads used in designing jewelry for my other business "Exclusive Time Pieces," which is a hand-made jewelry business and winds down with African dancing. I also do hair as a side passion and hobby.
